GPW Recruitment take on five new apprentices

Following the success of taking on apprentices last year, GPW Recruitment have recently took on 5 new apprentices though St Helens Chamber.

The apprentices have been placed with various divisions at GPW and will get a hands on education in recruitment and how a business works.

Jack Houghton is working alongside the Operations Manager and said,

“It’s great to learn first hand about how a business works. I’ve been involved in organising GPW’s charity golf day which has been really exciting and I’m looking forward to going along and helping out on the day. I have been working on the website, sponsorship and prizes.”

Mark Parish, Managing Director of GPW Recruitment commented,

“Jack won our Employee of the month award recently. His hard work in helping to pull together the GPW Golf day in terms of general organisation and also the dedicated website is much appreciated. He has settled into the company very quickly and regularly does IT related work from home. More recently he has taken responsibility for a number of administrative tasks including the pool car rota and has shown great enthusiasm and commitment since he started work at GPW. The other apprentices are performing just as well and although it can be a shock to the system to be in full time employment, they are all adapting very well to working life. I have high hopes for all of them in the future.”
