Jack Houghton and Jamie Armstrong complete their apprenticeships with GPW Recruitment

We are absolutely delighted to announce that two of our St Helens Chamber of  Commerce apprentices, Jack Houghton and Jamie Armstrong, have completed their  apprenticeships and have now been taken on as permanent members of staff.
Both Jack and Jamie completed their NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin with Technical  Certification.
Jack’s new title as of the 1st June 2012 is “Operations and IT Technician” and  Jamie’s is “Recruiter”. Both have settled in brilliantly over the last 12 months and  have worked exceptionally hard.
Jamie works in the Trades division and has recently won our “New Client & Re Activated Client Competition”. “Having joined the company a year ago, Jamie has quickly developed as a billing recruiter within his division and has successfully placed a mixture of temporary and permanent starters to attain his target of gross margin. Jamie works with the confidence of someone who has much more experience, some of his achievements within the 12 month apprentice programme include winning the New Client and Re Activated Client Competition from the final quarter of 2011 and also the Employee of the Month for January 2012. We are very proud to announce that Jamie Armstrong is now a permanent member of the GPW Recruitment team, well done Jamie.” Chris Wright, Director.
Jack has shown excellent “promise” in his first year at GPW. “He has become an essential part to the operations and IT team excelling in website building, marketing and also database management/reporting. We all wish Jack the very best for the future at GPW Recruitment” comments Gary Ward, Operations Manager, who “hand picked” Jack last May from numerous applicants.
Well done Jack and Jamie!
