Digital recruitment currently stands at an all-time high, rising to an astounding 94% of recruiters using this method to hire candidates.

As technology advances, more and more software is developed ultimately making the recruitment process fully completable online. New studies have revealed very strong statistics regarding the power of social media in recruitment.

• 73% of 18-24 year olds found their last job through social media.

• LinkedIn is the most powerful recruiting social media platform, with 94% of recruiters maintaining LinkedIn profiles which is miles ahead of the 66% that maintain Facebook and 54% on Twitter.

• Whilst 94% of recruiters continue to use LinkedIn only 36% of potential candidates have their own profiles.

So with the growth of digital recruiting becoming more apparent, will non-digital based recruitment ever be eliminated?
