The UK’s labour market has not only withstood the recent Brexit, but also the job market slowdown in summer. The latest data from CV-Library indicates an increase in jobs, salaries and candidate applications in August 2016.

The data collected from August 2016 was compared with the same data bracket from 2015, which shown a staggering rise in jobs by 21.8%. Proving that employers are showing no signs of slowing down over the summer months.

While this news is good for the nation on a whole, 5 sectors shown key job growth across the summer period-

• Automotive 43.2%
• Manufacturing 36.5%
• Marketing 31.8%
• Construction 30.3%
• Catering 24.8
